Marvel Guardian of the Galaxy Starlord Electronic Helmet Review

Did you get a chance to see the Toy Fair that was held this year (2017)? During the Toy Fair, there were so many different toys from well-known companies being showcased. Some of the toys really took the world by storm. Marvel Guardian of the Galaxy Starlord Electronic Helmet just so happens to be one of those “toys” that really stood out from the crowd. Today, we are here to tell you everything we know about this toy …

For those of you that are looking for a crazy set of wireless headphones or a cyborgian helmet, or perhaps both, then the Marvel Guardian of the Galaxy Starlord Electronic helmet is something you may be interested in.

The Marvel Guardian helmet comes to us from Hasbro and it has been inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.  At the time of release, you will need to pay $100 in order to get this helmet, but if you look at what it is, that is a real bargain as the helmet has built-in Bluetooth headphones.

This helmet (complete with headphones) is made for adults from all walks of life as the adjustable plastic helmet can fit any adult-sized heads. During the announcement, at the booth, Hasbro offered  prototype that had an external Bluetooth speaker, which showed us an idea of how it may sound when it is released. Mind you, don’t expect something like Beats – it’s not going to have AptX support, pinpoint imaging or an expansive soundstage. It’s not made for audiophiles, but it is made for cosplay fans and individuals that have a good sense of humor and just want to have fun and joke around.

Since the Marvel Guardian of the Galaxy Startlord electronichelmet is set to release this fall (2017), perhaps it would be just the accessory you need in order to complete your Halloween costume. Regardless, if you wear this thing in the subway, people are probably going to stay away from you.  For listening to Daft Punk, Buckethead, MF Doom, or you know, Helmet, this would probably be the go-to can.

When you put it on your head, you may feel as if you are wearing a hockey mask – if you wear glasses, you will need to remove them. What many people seem to like the most about the Marvel Guardian of the Galaxy Starlord Electronic Helmet would be the fact that it connects to Bluetooth. Unfortunately, this headset isn’t going to be available during the next movie, but like we said, you can add it in to your Halloween plans as that’s when it’s set to be released.

Conclusion
The Marvel Guardian of the Galaxy Starlord Electronic Hemet is the type of gear you will want to wear around your friends to make them laugh – if you’re a cosplayer, this may also complete your costume. While it would be funny to wear in public areas, we don’t recommend it as many states do not allow headgear that completely covers the face in public. For More Information Please Click HERE

Lego Boost Creative Toolbox Review

When you hear the name “Lego,” what do you think of? Many people instantly jump to building blocks. Of course, over the past couple of years, Lego has expanded into robotics, and video games, but the heart of Lego has always been about playing and building. Lately, Lego has been focused on meeting the growing demands and trying to find ways to get children more tech connected, while remaining true to their building roots. During the 2017 CES, which was held in Las Vegas, we saw the answer to this – it’s nesting behind the Lego Boost Creative Toolbox.

If you didn’t get the chance to attend the CES this year, you definitely missed out on a lot of amazing toys. However, don’t let that bother you too much, because we have all the information you need in regards to the Lego Boost Creative Toolbox.

The Lego Boost Creative Toolbox is a robotics kit that was designed for children ages 7-12. They have put a heavy emphasis on building and playing.

Coding
This teaches the basics of coding, but there is a strong emphasis on playing and building. When someone mentions a new Lego robotics kit, what do you think of? Many think of Lego Mindstorms and start to compare the new kit to Mindstorms. We’re going to tell you right now, Lego Boost isn’t as intimidating as Mindstorms and it is much more accessible.

The Lego Boost really plays up on the play and build aspect of creating robots. Children can definitely learn the basics of programing and coding. However, despite it all, it’s important to remember that Lego Boost isn’t going to replace Mindstorms.

Features
Take a look at the key features of the Lego Boost Creative Toolbox:

Pieces – This kit includes a little over 840 Lego pieces. It also includes a color and distance sensor, Lego move hub and an Interactive motor.

Move Hub – This features Bluetooth Lower Energy connectivity, activation button, two encoded motors, a light and an internal tilt sensor.

Color and Distance Sensor – The color and distance sensor is there in order to detect motion, distance, color and function as a light.

Interactive Motor – The interactive motor is an encoded motor.

Vernie’s Head – You can rotate Vernie’s head in order to activate its shoulder-mounted spring-loaded shooter. This technique, alone, can be quite fun.

Guitar4000 – With the Guitar4000, you can learn how to play a song.

Frankie the Cat – Frankie the Cat is really cool. Once you get him put together, the kids will learn how to look after their own pet. They need to feed them the right food, or Frankie might get upset and that won’t be a good show.

Multi-Tooled Rover 4 – With this kit, you can build the Multi-Tooled Rover 4 or for shorts, the M.T.R.4. Once you build it, you can try out different customization attachments and prepare the vehicle for different exciting activities to take part in.

AutoBuilder – You can construct, code and operate the AutoBuilder. By doing this, you can produce real miniature Lego models.

Easy-to-Use- It has easy-to-use intuitive software.

Building and Coding – You can build and code robots and models with the playmat and Lego Boost app. The app is available for Android and iOS tablets.

Building Instructions – For all five modes, you have building instruction. The building instructions are included with the free Lego Boos app.

Hexbug Vex Catapult Review

Every year, new and improved toys come out – we never really know what to expect. This year proved no different as major toy companies got together during the toy fair in New York in order to demonstrate their soon-to-release toys. While there were many amazing toys that really caught our attention, the one we are going to talk about today is the Hexbug Vex catapult.

An Introduction to Hexbug Vex

Hexbug is a brand of toy automations that have been developed by Innovation First. Hexbug was originally inspired by BEAM robotic, which is why you find many elements of it in the toys. They were originally released in the United States through RadioShack, but today, you can find that it is sold in most major retail stores. The original was based on 6-legged arthropods, but now, today, you will find them being sold in numerous varieties. The name “Hexbug,” however, isn’t really used to describe the number of legs the toy has – the name has more to do with the shape of the packaging.

An Introduction to Hexbug Vex Catapult

The Hexbug Vex catapult really is a neat little toy – the little ones can build the Vex Robotics Catapult that is capable of launching balls up to ten feet …that will amaze them. The toy comes with a little over 100 easy to connect snap pieces and two balls.
Once the catapult has been put together, in order to bring the bucket of the catapult far back, all you have to do is turn a knob. In order to lock the bucket into place, there’s a launching lever.
The user can even change the angle at which they want the ball to fly. They can do this easily by adjusting the T-shaped piece that is in the middle. Once it is set up, put the ball into the catapult and press the lever down in order to launch it.Launching a ball isn’t all the Hexbug Vex Catapult is capable of. The toy has real-rolling wheels, so the catapult can be driven around.

Re-Use the Pieces

Once done, you can use the pieces to build your own trike or racecar. However, you won’t be able to find those build instructions in the box – those instructions can only be found on the Hexbug website.

Is the Hexbug Vex Catapult Fun?

The catapult will catch the attention of many kids and once they see how it launches balls, they’ll cling to it. However, on the same note, it may be a little hard to set up in order to get the ball to launch. Children will need some patience in order to get it to work, but it is well worth it because once it works, the little ones are going to be impressed with how it performs.
This is a STEM-based construction set that introduces children to engineers.

Who is this Toy for?

This toy is for ages 14 and above – it would likely be more appealing to those that have an interest in building robotics and machines.

Conclusion

If your tween/teen enjoys putting things together and playing with them, then the Hexbug Vex Catapult would be a great toy. For More Information Please Click HERE
